M Aman Ullah of FirstLead jail in cheating case

The Chief Judicial Magistrate Court of Moulvibazar has sent M Aman Ullah, director of FirstLead Securities Limited, to jail in a fraud case.

When he applied for bail yesterday (April 6), Chief Judicial Magistrate Ali Hossain rejected his bail application and ordered him to be sent to jail. Later he was sent to Moulvibazar jail. Court inspector Ali Hossain and advocate Mahbub Alam Shamim confirmed this information.

It is known that M Aman Ullah is the Chairman of Aman Group of Companies. Besides, he is the chairman of share exchange companies Arena Securities Limited and Dayton Holding Limited and director of Fastlead Securities Limited. The plaintiffs in the case are prominent businessmen of Moulvibazar. MA Ahad, his wife Dr. Dilshad Parveen and their daughter Ayesha Tasnim Ishita.

13 defendants in the case including Fastlead Securities Limited. According to the affidavit of the case, the plaintiffs bought shares of Fastlead Securities Limited at various times. The market value of their shares is 6 crore 78 lakhs.

When the shareholders wanted to transfer the shares on December 24, 2018, the defendants did not transfer the shares. In this regard, the plaintiff complained to the Securities and Exchange Commission. The Securities and Exchange Commission fined the defendants two lakh taka after investigation.

In the statement of the case, it is mentioned that the defendants have embezzled money by selling shares of the plaintiffs. Case Section- 420/467/468/471/406/109/34 of the penal code 1860; Forgery by breach of trust by deception for the same purpose: the crime of embezzlement and threat.

The defendants of the case are - FirstLead Securities Limited, Chairman of the organization Abu Taher Md. Sueb, Managing Director Jhunu Chowdhury, Executive Director Muhitul Bari Chowdhury, Engineer Mohammad Mansuruzzaman, M Amanullah, Rumel Mohammad Saiful Rahman Pir, Tariqul Islam Rahimi, AFM Anwarul Ambia Chowdhury, Abdul Rakib Shikdar, Md. Mizanur Rahman, shareholder Md. Sirajul Haque and branch manager and shareholder Md. Anwar Hossain. The plaintiff's attorney in the case. Ataur Rahman.

It is known that about a hundred people of Moulvibazar had invested approximately 12 crore taka in the said company. These middle class and upper class people are sitting on the road by investing money in FirstLead Securities.

Advocate Mahbub Alam Shamim, the lawyer for the plaintiff in the case, said that the case is being investigated by the CID. He said the case is in the initial stage. Hope the plaintiffs get justice through due process of law.
