Khelafat Majlish Amir Zobair Ahmad Indeshwari is no more
Amir of Khelafat Majlish Maulana Jobair Ahmad Chowdhury (Indeshwari) passed away. Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Rajeun. He was 73 years old.
He died of a heart attack at a party iftar party in Narayanganj on Friday evening (April 7). This information is known from the sources of Khilafat Majlis.
The funeral prayer will be held today, 16th of Ramadan, Saturday (April 8) at around 3 pm at Moulvibazar Government High School ground.
Last January, Maulana Zobair Ahmad Chowdhury was elected as the Amir of the Khelafat Majlish. Before that he served as Director General of Qaumi Madrasa Education Board Befak. He taught Hadith in various Madrasahs as Sheikhul Hadith and Muhaddis. He also taught in Moulvibazar Government College.
