Chhatra League helps Sunamganj farmers harvest paddy

In Sunamganj, a farmer's paddy was cut by the leaders and activists of District Chhatra League. On Saturday (April 29) Sunamganj District Chhatra League Senior Vice President Likhan Ahmed led by half a hundred activists cut the paddy of the 15th century land of a small farmer named Rahmat Ali of Lalpur village of Gourarang Union of Sadar Upazila.

At that time, BCL leaders said that this initiative is to follow the central directive to join the farmers in the Boishakh paddy harvesting festival and encourage them to harvest paddy. They assured that Bangladesh Chhatra League has stood by the farmers and laborers in all the crisis times in the country and will continue to do so in the future.

District Chhatra League Vice President Kausar Ahmed, Shakeel Ahmed, Abu Bakr Siddiqui Shakeel, Abdus Samad Tipu, Organizing Secretary Anik Das, Deputy Secretary Sadek Ahmad, District Chhatra League Leader Zubair Ahmed, Ubayed Hossain, Sohag Ahmed, Aminur were present among others. etc.

District Chhatra League vice president Likhan Ahmed said, according to the instructions of the president and general secretary of Bangladesh Chhatra League, this small attempt to harvest rice to join the joy of farmers in the district Chhatra League Pratak Upazila. Chhatra League is on the side of the people of the district Krantilagne. Chhatra League was with the people in all crises including corona period, terrible floods. He said that the soldiers of Mujib Adarsh are always ready.

Apart from Chhatra League, various social and political organizations have cooperated in harvesting paddy to encourage farmers in Sunamganj.
