Awami League starts selling SCC by-polls nomination forms
Sale of nomination papers of Awami League for the post of mayor in Sylhet City Corporation elections has started today. Along with Sylhet, distribution of nomination forms has started in Gazipur, Barisal, Khulna, and Rajshahi City Corporation and five municipal elections. Forms will be sold till April 12.
The application form can be collected and submitted from the Dhanmondi political office of the Awami League president every day from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
On Sunday (April 9) morning, Awami League President Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's political office in Dhanmondi started the program, deputy secretary of the party Sayem Khan.
According to the schedule announced by the Election Commission, polling will be held in Gazipur City Corporation on May 25, Barisal and Khulna City Corporation on June 12 and Sylhet and Rajshahi City Corporation on June 21.
