A 160 kg bagar fish was caught in Sylhet
Bagar fish weighing about 160 kg is sold in the red market of Sylhet. A bagar fish of about 160 kg was caught in Jokiganj area of Kushiara river in Sylhet. The fish was taken to the market on Tuesday morning (March 14) for sale.
The seller in the red market said that since there were no buyers to buy the whole fish at the desired price, he decided to cut the fish and sell it at the rate of kg on Wednesday (March 15). He said that if he sells it like this, he will sell it for two thousand taka per kg.
The bagar was caught in the fishermen's net in Jokiganj Kushiara river in Sylhet on Tuesday morning. In the morning, the fish is taken to Lalbazar fish market in Bandar Bazar, Sylhet city for sale.
Meanwhile, many eager people are gathering after hearing the news of bringing large-sized bagar fish to the market. At this time, many people were seen taking pictures with mobile phones. Some are even touching the fish.
The fish seller said that if he sells at the rate of kg, he will sell it at two thousand taka per kg. And they expect to earn three to four lakh taka by selling the fish.
