45 agricultural service will be available on one digital platform

From now on, the Ministry of Agriculture and 17 departments and organizations under it will provide 45 citizen services on an integrated digital platform. From which more than two crore people related to agriculture will directly enjoy these benefits. If you click on integrated digital services from the website of the ministry, these services will be found.

Yesterday, Wednesday (15 March) in the conference room of the Ministry of Agriculture, this digital service was inaugurated by the Minister of Agriculture and Awami League presidium member Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaq. Agriculture Secretary Wahida Akhter and senior officials of the ministry and agency heads were present.

This information has been informed in the press release of the Ministry of Agriculture. At that time, the minister said, "As a result of the launch of this platform, the citizen services provided by the Ministry of Agriculture and its subordinate offices or organizations will be available in one place very easily, the time required to receive services will be reduced and the cost of travel will be reduced."

Through this portal the current civic services (which will be progressively expanded) are indexed sector-wise, department-wise or department-wise. For farmers, producers, traders, importers and exporters, the services provided by the Ministry and all agencies on agriculture consultancy, crops, license and registration, fertilisers, grants and subsidies, irrigation and pesticides will be available digitally. Later, the Minister of Agriculture instructed the scientists to increase research in fruits, vegetables or horticulture in the implementation progress meeting of the Ministry's annual development program. He said, "Scientists of the country are still lagging behind in researching profitable fruits, vegetables or horticulture." Contribution of scientists in this sector is not very visible. The minister also directed the scientists to discuss horticulture with private agricultural entrepreneurs.
