General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 17 Infantry Division and Sylhet Area Commander Major General Chowdhury Mohammad Azizul Haque Hazari inaugurated the 3-month tree plantation program of the army in Sylhet. He inaugurated the program at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday by planting a sapling of a Bacul tree in Sylhet cantonment. Keeping in mind the theme of 'Planting trees, building a country of healthy generations', the tree planting program will continue till September 5. During this time, 6 thousand saplings will be planted in Sylhet and Jalalabad cantonment.
