BNP to hold mass procession metropolitan cities today

The opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will hold mass procession with black flags in all metropolitan cities on Saturday to press home their one-point demand of the resignation of the current Awami League government and forming a neutral and non-partisan caretaker government for free and fair election.
BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the programmes at a press conference at the party’s Naya Paltan central office at 8pm on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, BNP and other like-minded opposition parties will bring out mass processions with black flags in the capital on Friday.
Earlier on August 18 (Friday last) the BNP and like-minded parties brought mass processions in all metropolitan cities, including in the capital, to force the government to accept their one-point demand.
