70 thousand 256 Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims reach Saudi Arabia
70 thousand 256 pilgrims have reached Saudi Arabia from Bangladesh so far this year (June 11 at 1:59 PM.). Among them, 9 thousand 350 are under government management and 60 thousand 906 are pilgrims under private management. So far 1 lakh 8 thousand 357 visas have been issued.
This information has been given in the latest bulletin related to Hajj. Airlines, Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Hajj Office Dhaka and Saudi Arabia sources have given this information to the helpdesk.
Meanwhile, 10 pilgrims have died while performing Hajj. Eight of them are men and two are women. They all died in Makkah. The name of the last person who died on June 6 was Md. Shahidul Alam (67).
Hajj may be held on June 27 subject to sighting of the moon in Saudi Arabia. The number of Hajj agencies participating in Hajj activities is 603. Hajj flights started on May 21. The last Hajj flight is on June 22. The first return flight of pilgrims is July 2 and the last return flight is August 2.
