Dhaka-17 : Hero Alam submits nomination paper
Ashraful Alam ali as Hero Alam has submitted nomination form as an independent candidate for Dhaka-17 seat. At this time, he said, I stand as a torch of protest in this by-election. Let's see if I lose here too.
He said this to the media after submitting the nomination form to the returning officer at the district election office of Agargaon on Thursday (June 15).
Hero Alam said, I am not associated with BNP or any other party. I am independent candidate. I was defeated nine-six in the Bogra by-election. That's why I stand here as a protest. Whether I lose here or not, I am voting in Dhaka-17 seat as a torch of protest. I hope to give a fair election.
Hero Alam said that there was a fair election in Gazipur. I became a candidate from that belief. But if the election is like Barisal City, I will not be able to win.
Hero Alam said that the elite class of Dhaka-17 constituencies is being talked about, you will see how many elites come to vote on the polling day. Four to five thousand votes will be of the elite class. The elite class is being talked about again and again.
When asked whether BNP or any other party is behind Hero Alam, he said, "I have been fighting alone since the beginning." I have no one behind me. If I join a team in the future, you will know that I have someone behind me. As I am an independent candidate, I am not joined by BNP or anyone else.
BNP will get the vote or not? In response to such a question, he said, it is a matter of voters' minds. Whether they will vote for the other parties, it is a personal matter of the voters. I was beaten nine-six in Bogra. Why am I losing again and again? Participating in the election as a protest. I can't find my problem. Here too, I will see what defeats me.
