Law Minister Anisul Haque said, after independence, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman gifted us a constitution. We will arrange the election according to that constitution. It is not right for those who disobey the constitution of the state to claim themselves as 'Bangladeshi citizens'.
He said this while talking to reporters at the Akhaura railway station area of Brahmanbaria on Friday.
Law Minister said BNP will say many things. We follow the Constitution. Because this country became independent through the liberation war in exchange for the blood of three million martyrs. In that independent country, elections will be held according to the constitution left by the father of the nation.
He also said that Bangladesh is a developing country. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given us some specific directions. Accordingly, we will make Bangladesh a 'Smart Bangladesh' by 2041.
