Fire in Bongo Bazar: Now wake up and see my dream burnt to ashes
Md Mohsin is sitting on the sidewalk opposite to Enexco Tower in Fulbaria of the capital. Every now and then wiping the water from his eyes with his hand and calmly looking at the Annexo Tower - his dream is burning.
Mohsin is the owner of Masood Enterprises of that tower. He said, I slept after eating Seheri. Woke up to the screams of people. I looked through the window and saw smoke coming from the tower where my shop is.
From 2010, Comilla resident Mohsin worked in a shop in Fulbaria of the capital for two years. After learning to work for two years, he entered the business. Starting with one shop, Mohsin went on to own two shops. But with the passage of time he is now destitute.
Although most of the family members are settled abroad, Mohsin, who graduated in chemistry from Tejgaon College, decided to do something in the country and went into business.
He said in a very annoyed voice, I used to look at the shop every day from the window of the house when I woke up. Now I have to wake up and see that my dream has been reduced to ashes in the fire. So many years of hard work turned to ashes in an instant.
