Announcement of launch of Qatar Airways flights from Chittagong

Qatar Airways will launch flights from Chittagong in March next year in view of the long-standing demands of the expatriates staying in the Middle Eastern country of Qatar. In an announcement, Qatar Airways said that direct flights from Chittagong to Qatar will be launched on March 11, 2024 to make expatriate travel comfortable and uninterrupted.

In this announcement, Qatar Airways announced the addition of 6 new destinations, the resumption of flights on 11 routes and the increase of flights on 35 routes.

Apart from Chittagong, the new routes are Juba in South Sudan, Kinshasa in Congo, Lyon and Taluz in France, Medan in Indonesia and Trabzon in Turkey.

Meanwhile, a breath of relief is blowing among the expatriates of Chittagong region with this new announcement.

Earlier expatriates had to go to Dhaka from Qatar and then reach Chittagong again. Direct flights between Qatar and Chittagong allow expatriates of the region to avoid travel complications.
