Heat wave in 7 divisions, day and night temperature will increase
Mild to moderate heat waves are prevailing over Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions, which may persist.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department gave this information in the weather forecast for the next 24 hours from 9 am on Thursday (April 13).
The forecast also said that during this time the weather may remain dry with partly cloudy sky.
According to the temperature, day and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country.
According to the synoptic conditions, an extension of the low pressure is located over West Bengal and adjoining areas. Seasonal normal low pressure is located over South Bay of Bengal.
The lowest temperature recorded in the country today was 18.5 degrees Celsius at Tentulia. And on Wednesday, the highest temperature was in Chuadanga, 39.7 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature recorded in Dhaka yesterday was 38.9 degrees Celsius.
The relative humidity of the air in Dhaka at 6 am today was 53 percent. Today sunset in Dhaka is 6:19 PM, tomorrow sunrise in Dhaka is 5:39 AM.
The weather conditions for the next 72 hours are said to change slightly.
