Highest temperature of the season in Dhaka
The maximum temperature recorded in the capital Dhaka on Saturday (April 15) was 40.4 degrees Celsius. This is the highest temperature of this season.
The matter was confirmed by the meteorologist of the Department of Meteorology. Hafizur Rahman.
He said that the maximum temperature of 40.4 degrees Celsius was recorded in Dhaka today after noon. Air humidity in Dhaka is also high, about 35 percent. As a result, intense heat is felt.
Meanwhile, Chuadanga recorded the highest temperature in the country today at 42.2 degrees Celsius. Which is the highest temperature in the country this season.
The weather forecast for the next 24 hours after 6 pm on Saturday said that the weather will remain dry with temporary partly cloudy skies across the country. Severe heatwave is sweeping over Dhaka, Faridpur, Manikganj, Pabna, Bagerhat, Jessore, Chuadanga and Kushtia districts. A mild to moderate heat wave is moving over the rest of the country and may continue.
At 6 pm, the relative humidity in the air in Dhaka was 35 percent. At present the wind speed of Dhaka is 8 to 12 km per hour. which flows from south-west and south.
