No need for dialogue on caretaker government issue
Minister of Information and Broadcasting thinks that there is no need for dialogue on the caretaker government issue Dr. Hasan Mahmud. He said this at the unveiling of two books based on Bangabandhu's life in the meeting room of the ministry at the secretariat on Wednesday (March 15) and during the question-and-answer session with journalists.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that he will not go to the election or any dialogue under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. When asked about this, the joint general secretary of Awami League said that the election will be held under the Election Commission. Not under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Even if they want to go to the election under Awami League, there is no such opportunity. And we did not call them to dialogue. There is no need for dialogue on the caretaker government issue.
We did not invite them to dialogue. So if we called them, they could say whether they will go to the dialogue or not. There is no question of dialogue with BNP on the caretaker government issue. The election will be held under the Election Commission as per the constitution. The current government will fulfill its duties during the election, said Dr. Hasan Mahmud.
He said that in the same way elections are held in other countries in parliamentary democracy, the current government will perform its duties during the national elections. There is no question of dialogue in this question.
