Guard of Honor to the newly appointed President at Bangabhaban
The newly appointed president Md. Sahabuddin was given a national salute and guard of honor at Bangabhaban by a group of the Guard Regiment.
He was given a guard of honor shortly before 11am today, Tuesday (April 25). After the ceremony at Bangabhavan, he will pay his respects at the National Memorial, Bangabandhu Mural and Shaheed Minar at No. 32, Dhanmondi.
Monday (April 24) around 11 o'clock took oath as the 22nd President of Bangladesh. Sahabuddin. Speaker of Jatiya Sangsad administered the oath to the President in the Durbar Hall of Bangabhavan. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury.
Then the new president Sahabuddin went to Bangabhaban with his family around 9:30 pm. This 73-year-old politician was elected as the 22nd President of Bangladesh on 13 February 2023.

President declared Sahabuddin. Later EC issued notification in this regard.
