PM leaves Tokyo for Washington DC
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has left for Washington DC after a four-day visit to Japan at the invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
A United Airlines flight carrying the Prime Minister and his entourage left Tokyo's Haneda International Airport at 3:55 PM local time for Washington DC's Dallas International Airport, said Prime Minister's Speechwriter M. Nazrul Islam.
The flight is scheduled to land at Dallas International Airport at 3:50 pm US time. Bangladesh Ambassador to United States Muhammad Imran will welcome the Prime Minister at the airport.
The Prime Minister will leave Washington DC for London on May 4 to attend the coronation of Charles III and his wife Camilla as King and Queen of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth states.
