Candidates with disabilities will get Stenographer in 45th BCS

Public Service Commission (PSC) will provide auditory writer facility to the candidates with disabilities in the 45th BCS preliminary examination. Interested candidates (who want hearing impaired candidates) are directed to apply by next 30th April (Thursday) during office hours.

This information was informed in a notification sent by PSC on Wednesday (March 15).

According to the notification, among the candidates applying as disabled candidates in the 45th BCS examination, those candidates who require audio scribe will be provided audio scribe from PSC. Candidates with disabilities who want Shruti writer should submit the application form at BPSC head office Agargaon during office hours by April 30.

The application is asked to submit copy of online application form, two copies of passport size attested photograph of the candidate, medical certificate of civil surgeon regarding requirement of hearing writer, attested copy of disability certificate signed by Deputy Director of District Social Services Office under Directorate of Social Services or equivalent responsible officer.

The notification further states that the candidates applying can only take the exam with the help of an authorized audio writer. Audio writer will not be available if not applied. Ophthalmologist in case of visually impaired, ENT specialist in case of hearing impaired, Neurologist in case of intellectually impaired or on his own responsibility will examine the disabled candidate and issue the certificate in favor of the disability.

The recorder will not be appointed if the application is not made within the specified period stating the need of the recorder along with the documents. Applicants for Shruti Scribes only have to attend the exam with the help of Shruti Scribes approved from Bangladesh Government Career Commission.
