Workshop on soil fertility using biochar held at SUST

A workshop was held on the topic of restoring soil fertility using biochar and bio-fertilizers organized by the Department of Forestry and Environmental Science, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.

Kim Sanghyun, a researcher of the Korea Forest Service and chief technical officer of the Korean research institute 'Save the Farm' working on the ginseng plant, was present as the main speaker at the workshop held at the conference room of the university's central library building at 2 pm on Wednesday (May 10).

The workshop included detailed discussions with Kim Sanghyun on collaborative research on biochar and biofertilizers as well as collaborative work with students, researchers and faculty from Departments of Forestry and Environmental Sciences at Korea University and Shahjalal University.
