Former MU Student Shubo has received job offer from Agoda

Faisal Ahmed Shubo, a graduate of Metropolitan University, got a job at Agoda, one of the world's leading sites for hotel bookings in travel. As a software engineer, he will work in Agoda's office in Bangkok, Thailand.

According to Metropolitan University's Public Relations Branch, Faisal Ahmed Shubhar's village house is in Bakhtarpur village of Lakshmipur union of Doarabazar police station of Sunamganj. His father Abul Kalam Azad is a retired army officer, mother Fatema Akhtar is a former school teacher.

Shubo completed his primary and secondary education at the village school. Passed HSC from Sunamganj Government College in 2013. After that, he was admitted to the leading private higher education institution of Sylhet Division, Metropolitan University. He was a 35th batch student of Computer Science and Engineering department of the university.

After graduation, Shubo started working as a software engineer in a company called Insys Solutions in Dhaka. He was promoted to Senior Software Engineer here.

Recently Faisal Ahmed Shubor received a call from the world famous hotel booking site Agoda.com. He has to go through various processes including interview. Then on September 20, he was confirmed as a software engineer by Agoda. Shubo will join Agoda's office in Thailand later this year.

Meanwhile, Chairman of Metropolitan University congratulated Dr. Shuvo. Taufiq Rahman Chowdhury. He said, 'Graduates of Metropolitan University are getting jobs in world famous institutions. It is not only the pride of our university, but the pride of Bangladesh.

Incidentally, Mohammad Mazharul Islam, a graduate of Metropolitan University, got a job at Agoda last August. Recently graduated from Metropolitan University Nafiul Adnan Chowdhury and Amanur Rahman in the world famous Google and Md. Imrul Chowdhury confirmed job at Amazon.
