Inter-Divisional final football tournament was held at SUST

Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) Department of Physical Education organized the inter-departmental football tournament as the champion in the statistics department for boys and public administration department for girls.

On Wednesday (March 22), the girls' games are played at 3.30 pm and the boys' games at 4.00 pm at the university's central ground. In the boys' final, after a 1-1 draw at regulation time, the statistics department defeated the political studies department by a margin of 4-3 in the tiebreaker. And the women's department defeated the Bengali department 1-0 and became the champion of the public administration department.

At this time, the president of the subcommittee on sports and the director of student counseling and guidance of the university gave the award to the winners. Amena Parveen Also present, the president of the teacher's association, Professor Dr. Kabir Hossain, Proctor Professor Dr. Kamruzzaman Chaudhuri and Director of Physical Education Department Chaudhuri Soudh Bin Ambia.

Stating that the final game of the tournament has been successfully completed, Director of Physical Education Department Chowdhury Saud Bin Ambia said that the game has been completed very nicely. With the sincere cooperation of University Administration, Proctoral Body, University teachers and students, we have been able to successfully complete the football tournament after a long time. Note that the game starts from March 9th. 28 boys and 6 girls teams participated in it. This is the first time that the girls participated in the football game.
