President of SUST School of Debate Liza, secretary Ruhel

The 9th executive council of 'SUST School of Debate', one of the debating organizations of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, has been announced. In this, Nazneen Liza, a student of 2018-19 academic year of English Department, and Farhan Chowdhury Ruhel, a student of the same academic year of Mechanical Engineering Department, were elected as general secretary. This information was informed in a press release sent by the organization on Thursday (March 30) at noon.

According to the notification, the committee includes, among others, Senior Vice-President Khondkar Sanjida Jannat, Vice-President (Debate) Tanjila Akhtar, Vice-President (Admin) Bahauddin Rakib, Joint General Secretary Shaon Sutradhar, Organizing Secretary Adiba Imroz Priyati, Co-Organizing Secretary Badrul Amin Imon and Mohammad Takvir Ahmed, Debate Director Abu Naser Shah Md. Maruf Ahmed, Co-Debate Directors Farzin Aniyar Rahman and Miftahul Jannat Kaniz, Finance Secretary Abdullah Nazir, Co-Finance Secretary Nurun Nisa, Communications Secretary Tasnim Tabassum Meem, Co-Communications Secretary Hriday Kumar Mahato, Publications Secretary Mohammad Rezaul Karim, Co-Publications Secretary Bipan Barek, IT Secretary Tajri Rosemin, Associate Information and Technology Secretary Israt Jahan Raisa, Publicity Secretary Halima Khanam Shashi, Associate Publicity Secretary Tanya Tahmin, Department Secretary Nahian Nawar Torsa and Associate Department Secretary Mohammad Shakeel Hossain.

Note that on the evening of March 29 (Wednesday), the club organized an Iftar party and announced the 9th Executive Council along with cutting the cake on the occasion of the club's birthday. The chief advisor of SAST School of Debate was present at the time. Mohammad Farooq Uddin, 8th Executive Council President Mehzabin Khan Parna and Vice President Raihana Islam, 5th Executive Council General Secretary Adnan Shah Nahid, 4th Executive Council Office Secretary Didar Bhunya, 6th Executive Council Deputy General Secretary Tanveen Hosin and Co-Publication Secretary Partha Saha et al.
