Prime Minister`s Aid Trust will provide stipend to students

Prime Minister's Education Assistance Trust will provide stipend to students studying in the 1st year of graduation (pass) and equivalent level. This stipend will be given to poor and meritorious students studying in various educational institutions under Dhaka University, National University and Islamic Arabic University for the academic year 2020-21.

This was confirmed in a circular signed by Abdun Noor Muhammad Al Feroze, Managing Director of Stipend Wing of Prime Minister's Educational Assistance Trust recently.

It is said that the Prime Minister's Education Assistance Trust will give stipends to the poor and meritorious students studying in different educational institutions under Dhaka University, National University and Islamic Arabic University in the 1st year (2020-21 academic year) of graduation (pass) and equivalent level or degree in the financial year 2022-23. .

Application Eligibility
Only poor and meritorious students studying in 1st year (2020-21 academic year) of graduation (pass) and equivalent level or degree must register online by visiting the link https://estipend.pmeat.gov.bd to get the stipend.

The concerned students can apply online using the system from 15th March (Wednesday) to 6th April by following the guidelines for using the e-stipend system.

Instructions Required for Registration
For information entry in the software, all concerned educational institution heads and Upazila Secondary Education Officers can login using the User ID and Password previously provided or by using the User ID and Password used for the EMIS software of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education.

After completing the overall process, the Heads of the educational institutions have to send a signed report card to the Trust online using the system to provide the list of pre-selected students by April 18. However, no hard copy of the list of initially selected students need be sent to the Prime Minister's Education Assistance Trust.
