SSC exams postponed for cyclone Mocha to be held on 27, 28 May

The SSC and equivalent exams postponed due to Cyclone Mocha will be held on Saturday (May 27) and Sunday (May 28).
On Tuesday (May 16), Dhaka Education Board's examination controller Professor Md. The matter was informed in a circular signed by Abul Basha.
According to the notification, the examination of the postponed subjects of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) 2023 will be held as per the following schedule. Board authorities can change this schedule for special needs. The exam will be held from 10 am to 1 pm every day.
According to the notification, the postponed Physical Science (Theoretical), Bangladesh History and World Civilization, Finance and Banking exams will be held on May 27 (Saturday). Students of Comilla, Jessore, Chittagong and Barisal education boards will participate in this examination.
On the other hand, Home Science (Theoretical), Agricultural Education (Theoretical), Music (Theoretical), Arabic, Sanskrit, Pali, Physical Education and Sports (Theoretical) and Arts and Crafts (Theoretical) examinations will be held on Sunday (May 28). Students from Dhaka, Rajshahi, Comilla, Jessore, Chittagong, Sylhet, Barisal, Dinajpur and Mymensingh boards will participate in this examination.
Besides, it has been said that the practical examination of all subjects including music must be completed between Monday (May 29) and Sunday (June 4). At the same time, print copies and practical answer sheets, signatures and other ancillary documents have been asked to be arranged in order of roll number and submitted to the secondary branch by next Sunday (June 11).
The notification further informs that the practical exams will be held from 10 am every day in respective exam centers.
Earlier yesterday Monday (May 15) at the Government Teachers Training College of the capital, the Minister of Education Dr. Dipu Moni said that the SSC and equivalent exam dates of all the boards postponed due to the impact of Cyclone Mokha in the Bay of Bengal will be announced soon. The date and schedule of this postponed exam will be announced in a few days. The matter will be decided in the inter-board coordination committee meeting. It will be held after the completion of all the written tests.
Incidentally, the ongoing SSC and equivalent examinations of all education boards on Sunday and Monday (May 13 and 14) have been postponed due to cyclone Mokha. The decision was announced by issuing an emergency notification from the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee.
