HSC Exam Routine 2023 

This year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exam routine has been released. On August 17, the exam will begin with the first paper of Bengali. It will continue till September 25.

On Thursday (June 8), the examination controller of the secondary and higher secondary education board, Professor Md. HSC exam routine of nine common boards has been released under the signature of Abul Bashar.

Like other times, this time also the candidates have to enter the hall 30 minutes before the start of the exam. First multiple choice and then creative/compositional (theory) test will be conducted. As per the published notice, the practical exam will be held from September 26 to October 4.

According to the Office of the Controller of Examinations of the Education Board, the public examinations usually start on Sunday or Thursday. This practice has been going on for many years. As such, it is proposed to start the HSC examination on Thursday, August 17. On the same date, Madrasah and Technical Board exams will also begin in addition to the 9 general education boards.

HSC Routine 2023

The officials of the board said that since 2010, the SSC exam was started in the first week of February and the HSC exam in the first week of April. This schedule was disrupted in 2020 due to the coronavirus. Due to Corona, the previous exam schedule got messed up. HSC exam in 2021 starts on 2nd December and 2022 exam starts on 6th November. The Ministry of Education has undertaken a plan to gradually bring forward this delayed examination. It has been decided that the 2023 exam will be conducted in the middle of July. But as the colleges could not finalize the syllabus, the exam will be held a month later in mid-August, board officials said.

The 2023 HSC and equivalent examinations will be held in all subjects as per the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) revised syllabus 2022.
