4 teachers of MC College get `Good Work Appreciation Award`

4 teachers have been selected for 'Good Work Appreciation Award'-2022-23 from these 4 categories of professors, associate professors, assistant professors and lecturers of Sylhet's traditional Vidyapeeth Murarichand (MC) College for their professionalism, dedication and contribution to the development of the college. The announcement was made in a circular signed by MC College Principal Professor Abul Anam Md Riaz on Wednesday.

Professor Dr. Muhammad Alauddin Khan, Head of Department of Physics, Professor Mohammad Abdul Khalek, Assistant Professor of Botany Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Habibur Rahman of Islamic History and Culture Department and Lecturer of Islamic Education Department were nominated for the 'Good Work Appreciation Award' in the professor category. Congratulating the awardees, Principal Professor Abul Anam Riaz said that this event is to motivate those who have done good work in the development of the college in the last one year. This recognition will continue to be given for good work in the future as well.

It is to be noted that earlier, Professor Muhammad Alauddin Khan, Head of Physics Department of MC College, was selected as the best class teacher of Sylhet Division and was elected third at the national level. In 2022, he was also selected as the best class teacher at the departmental level. And this year Associate Professor of Botany Department Mohammad Abdul Khalek was selected as the best rover teacher at the district level.
