Mobile game-app and job festival held in SUST
Mobile Game-App and Job Festival has been organized by ICT Department in collaboration with Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. The festival started at 9:30 am on Wednesday (March 22) in the central auditorium of the university and continued throughout the day.
Skill Development for Mobile Game and Apps Projector Director of ICT Department. Under the chairmanship of Anwar Hossain, Secretary of ICT Department was present as the chief guest Samsul Arefin.
In the speech of the chief guest, Samsul Arefin said that in 2008, the Prime Minister announced Digital Bangladesh. In the continuation of that, our country has reached the middle income country in the implementation of Vision 2021. The Prime Minister also announced that Bangladesh will become a developed and prosperous country in 2041.
He also said that smart citizens, smart government, smart economy and smart society have been declared pillars for the development of our country. Smart Bangladesh will stand on these four pillars.
Talking about the change in technology, the minister said that our country has progressed a lot in information and technology since the past. We need to be more attentive towards artificial intelligence. We have a huge youth population. If they move more towards information and technology then we can move forward in future.
Quiz competitions, motivational workshops, animation movies, raffle draws, CV submissions and interviews are conducted in the festival. Prizes were distributed among the participants in various competitions.
