‘SUDS’ gets new committee in SUST

The 23rd Executive Committee of Shahjalal University Debating Society, the central debating organization of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, has been announced. In this committee, Mehrab Sadat, a student of the 2018-19 academic year of the Department of Physics, and Raonak Jahan Muna, a student of the same academic year of the Social Work Department, were elected as the general secretary.

The new committee was announced on Friday (March 31) at a function organized in room 408 of the academic building of the university.

Other members of the committee are Vice-President Sumit Karmakar (Debate), Vice-President (Administration)- Jumana Hasan, Joint Secretary- Rifat Jahan Rouhani, Deputy General Secretary- Antik Chowdhury, Treasurer- Sadman Saqib, Deputy Treasurer- Nusrat Jahan Ohi. , has been nominated.

Also nominated are Bengali Debate Coordinator - Deepta Dev, Co-Bengali Debate Coordinator - Abu Saeed Shawon, English Debate Coordinator - Panna Das Aryan, Co-English Debate Coordinator - Muhtasim Parveen.

Besides, Organizing Secretary - Mantaka Poushi, Co-Organizing Secretary Khadija Sultana, Anik Sarkar, Office Editor - Rudhba Jahan Fiza, Co-Office Editor - Safwat Adiba Hiya, Publicity Editor - Mahfuza Rahman Rupa, Co-Publicity Editor - Nusrat Jahan Tanni, Publication and IT editor - Md. Mehrajul Islam, co-publication and IT editor - Mahua Mrinmoy, workshop and lesson cycle editor - Samridh Majumdar, co-workshop and lesson cycle editor - Md. Khondkar. Siam, Syeda Sanjana Tasnim Priya, Event and Logistics Editor. Najibul Islam, Co-Events & Logistics Editor Mehdi Hasan Mottakin was nominated.

Besides, Tahsin Rahman Ritu, Sumaita Akhtar Ratri, Rupa Debnath, Farzana Akhtar Nishat have been nominated as executive members.
