SUST Tahirpur Association : President Iqbal, Secretary Akash

A committee of 16 members of Shahjalal Science and Technology University students' organization from Tahirpur Upazila of Sunamganj has been formed.

Iqbal Hossain, a student of the Political Studies department, has been nominated as the president and Akash Talukdar of the Bengali department has been nominated as the general secretary.

A discussion meeting was held at SUST University Center on Sunday afternoon to mark the formation of the committee.

Iqbal Hossain, Akash Talukder, Nahin Nazneen and others spoke in the discussion meeting chaired by outgoing president Saurabh Pal and moderated by general secretary Aminul Islam Rahat.

Others in the new committee are Vice President Tama Roy (CEP), Tusti Chakraborty (PSS), Hafsa Al Ansaria (Bangla), Organizing Secretary Nahin Nazneen (Anthropology), Finance Secretary Mehdi Hasan (Public Administration), Assistant Finance Secretary. Shibbir Ahmed (PSS), Office Secretary Faisal Ahmed (Public Administration), Women Affairs Secretary Mifta Akhtar (Physical Science), Publicity Secretary Zahid Hasan Sagar (Geography and Environment), Social Welfare Secretary Kavita Akhtar, Education and Research Secretary Najma Akhtar (PSS), Sports Affairs Secretary Hriday Hasan (PSS), International Affairs Secretary Mozakkir Hossain (BBA), Environment Affairs Secretary Sohag (Mathematics).
