Chhatra League activists Iftekhar banned from halls of SUST

Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Shabiprobi) Chhatra League worker Iftekhar Ahmed has been issued a notice of ban on entering all the residential halls of the university on charges of anti-discipline activities.

According to a source of the university, on the night of February 24, there was a complaint against some workers of Chhatra League for throwing out the valid student Delwar Hossain from room number 239 of Shahparan Hall. Delwar, a student of Mathematics, was also involved in BCL politics. In this incident, Delwar Hossain gave a written complaint to the proctor on February 26. In it he mentioned the names of Chhatra League workers Saddam Hossain, Iftekhar Ahmed, Ashiqur Rahman.

In the written complaint, it was mentioned that Delwar was a legitimate student of Room No. 239 of Shahparan Hall. On the night of February 14, Saddam accommodated additional students in that room in the hall. Delwar protested as it was a problem in the normal education life.

For this, on the night of February 24, Delwar was thrown out of the hall along with the petition. At that time, about 15 people including Iftekhar, Ashiqur, led by Saddam threatened Delwar. In such a situation Delwar is suffering from insecurity. In a written complaint to the proctor, he sought assistance in securing security and hall seats.

Saddam Hossain, Ashiqur Rahman were expelled from Shahparan Hall on March 1 in view of Delwar's complaint. Apart from that, Iftekhar Ahmed was banned from that hall.
