Iftar party organized by Shahjalal University Press Club

Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Shabiprabi) organized journalists' organization 'Shahjalal University Press Club' organized iftar and doa mahfil.

Iftar mahfil was held in room number 129 (gallery) of academic building 'A' of the university on Friday (April 7) evening.

President of Shabi Press Club Nazmul Huda presided over the event and general secretary Abdullah Al Masud was present as a guest of the treasurer of the university. Md. Anwarul Islam, Acting President of Shabi Teachers Association, Prof. Dr. Chandrani Nag, general secretary Dr. Mahbubul Hakim, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Sciences. Syed Badiuzzaman Farooq, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Mineral Sciences Prof. Swapan Kumar Sarkar, Director of Student Advice and Guidance Prof. Amina Parveen, Proctor Prof. Dr. Md. Kamruzzaman Chowdhury, Provost of Shahparan Hall. Md. Mizanur Rahman Khan, Provost of Bangabandhu Hall. Moniruzzaman Khan, University Chief Engineer Syed Habibur Rahman, heads of various departments and heads of departments, General Secretary of Shabi Officers Association Abu Sadat Mohammad Sayem Talukdar, former vice-president of Shabi Press Club Araf Ahmad, officials and employees, leaders of cultural organizations and members of the press club were present.

Meanwhile, treasurer Professor Dr. Md. Anwarul Islam said, we all have to unite and work together to advance this university. If we observe it consciously from our respective places, then this university will go far. And the journalists of the university press club help to do this work spontaneously. Finally, the treasurer thanked the Shabi Press Club for continuing this cooperation.

Before Iftar, Imam Qari Maulana Matiur Rahman prayed in front of the University's central Jame Masjid. Students of various departments were present on the occasion.
