SUST first student hall sports week start
Shahjalal University of Science and Technology has inaugurated the sports week of the residential first student hall. Yesterday Monday (13 March) at 5:30 pm, the sports week was inaugurated by the director of student counseling and guidance of the university, Professor Amina Parveen, in the field adjacent to the first student hall.
Acting Provost of the Hall Machuma Akhter presided over as the Chief Guest, Director of Student Counseling and Guidance Prof. Amina Parveen was present as the chief guest. The assistant provost of the hall Zobayda Gulshan Ara and Sadia Khanam were also present on the occasion.
Various sports are organized by the hall during sports week. Among these competitions are organized for the students in balance race, suisuta race, biscuit race, ludo, bone breaking, chess, carrom, badminton and pillow passing. Also organized Bar Goal, Ludo Final, Carrom Final and Badminton Final for officers and employees.
In this regard, Professor Amina Parveen said that the sports week has started by organizing the residential student hall of the university. Organizing such a sports competition is a unique initiative by the hall. I think this sports competition will give girls mental peace as well as happiness. I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to all the provost body of the hall and also wish the participating students all the best.
