Prof Abul Anam Md. Riaz appointed new principal of MC College

Prof. Abul Anam Md. Riaz has been appointed as the principal of Murarichand (MC) College, the country's traditional educational institution.

Today Wednesday (April 12) Ministry of Education Secondary and Higher Education Department (Government College-2) Kazi Md Abdur Rahman was confirmed in a notification.

Before this Professor Abul Anam Riaz served as Principal of Sylhet Government College and Head of Physics Department of MC College. Prof Riaz is an officer of 14th BCS General Education cadre.

The newly appointed principal told Eye News, 'MC College is a traditional educational institution of the country. Being appointed as the principal of such an institution, I am going to take a serious responsibility. I will work on the basis of special priority to improve the quality of academic education of the college.
