New leadership of ‘SUST Gazipur Students Association`

Shahjalal University of Science and Technology's regional organization 'Gazipur Students Association' has new leadership. In this, the fourth year student of Public Administration Department. Abu Bakar was nominated as the President and Shahrukh Khan Himu as the General Secretary of Forest and Environmental Sciences Department in the same year.

On Tuesday (April 18) afternoon, the organization's advisor and Shabir Anthropology Department professor Dr. Mazharul Islam confirmed this.

Several members of the organization said that this short committee was announced in the presence of past and present Sastians (Shabi students) of Gazipur on Monday (April 17) at the iftar party and meeting.

Initially, a new committee with 17 members was announced, but the members of the organization said that a full-fledged committee will be formed after the opening of the campus.

Other members of the new committee in the organization are Senior Vice President Mehdi Hasan Shiblu, Vice President Arpan Ifti, Mosaffaq Ahmed Sidaf, Jerin Priya and Israt Jahan Rifa.

Joint General Secretary Abdur Rahman Rana and Md. Rabiul Islam, Treasurer Abid Hasan, Organizing Secretary Sadman Saqib, Co-Organizing Secretary Som Bita and Office Secretary Arnab Roy.

Besides, cultural secretary Saima Hossain Charu and Nusrat Jahan Mim, publishing secretaryMd. Simul Hasan and SK Isan have been nominated.
