Vijay to share Rs 100 crore with fans in celebration of ‘Kushi’

Vijay Deverakonda has recently made an announcement that generated quite a buzz in the media. The actor has decided to gift Rs 1 lakh to the families of his 100 random fans.

As per reports, the actor announced the news when he was attending a celebratory event for his latest film "Kushi". The Indian celebrity had previously showed a loving gesture to 100 of his fans by arranging a Manali trip for them in February.

A video of the star making the announcement has already gone viral on social media. At the event, he shared, "I am announcing the distribution of Rs 100 crore to 100 families in order to share my joy with you. Each of the families will receive Rs 1 lakh. I will be sponsoring it from my personal account."

Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer film "Kushi" hit the theatres on September 1. The film has made waves in the Indian box office, collecting over Rs 38.25 crore in revenue. Moreover, the film has also earned over Rs 71 crore from its worldwide screening.

Directed by Shiva Nirvana, "Kushi" also stars Vennela Kishore, Murli Sharma, Sachin Khedekar, and Saranya Ponvannan, amongst others. The film is rapidly advancing towards the Rs 100 crore box office club in the Indian domestic arena.
