Chirkut Is Going On A Long Visit To The United States

For the third time, the country's popular band Chirkut is going on a concert tour in the United States. The musical journey titled 'The Legacy Tour-USA 2023' will continue till the end of June.

Chirkut says, their first concert will be in Boston. During this whole period they will perform concerts in different cities of North America.

Singer Sharmin Sultana Sumi, spokesperson of the band, said, "If everything goes well, we will leave the country for America in the first week of next May." Dear listeners, well wishers will surely pray for us that everything goes well. Eat life, the world, talk of Bengal, Kanamachi, die, friend go, the city of magic, let's see America in the fragrance of red from Khalas.'

Chirkut has been making its way for 21 years with its own original songs with new words, tunes and ideas in the composition of Bengali songs.

They did two full tours in 2015 and 2016 before 'Chirkut', known as 'The Global Bangladeshi Band'. In addition to this, Chirkut witnessed the history of Bangladesh by participating in a concert with the legendary world music band Scorpions at Madison Square Garden, the world's most historic and popular venue located in Manhattan, America, organized and invited by the Ministry of ICT for the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh last year.

Apart from this, the band brought fame by participating in two concerts in 2016 as the first and only band from Bangladesh in one of the largest and most respected music festivals in the world, South by Southwest. Chirkut has been regularly participating in various international and domestic concerts in different cities of Norway, England, Australia, Sri Lanka, India, Malaysia for the past 11 years to spread the fragrance and glory of Bengali music.

This tour is being organized by USA's Jamming Entertainment and Drik.
