Actress Kaushani joined Trinamool
This time Tollywood actress Kaushani Mukherjee joined Trinamool. At the same time, Impa chief Piya Sengupta came to Trinamool.
On this day, Piya Sengupta and Kaushani Mukhopadhyay took the Trinamool party flag from the hands of State Minister Bratya Basu and Trinamool spokesperson Kunal Ghosh at Trinamool Bhawan.
Soon after the Lok Sabha elections, many people from Tollywood joined the BJP. This time, before the assembly elections, the Trinamool started to increase the number of artists in the party.
Joining the Trinamool, Kaushani said, "The current turbulent situation, I think this is the right time to take a decision. I have been a fan of Mamata Banerjee since childhood. My whole family follows Trinamool party. So it is a privilege for me to participate in the development sacrifice of the Chief Minister as a member of the Trinamool. I want many young people to be inspired by me. Let them also come forward
The popular actress also said, "My first film is 'I can't leave you.' I cannot leave Mamata Banerjee either. As an actress, I have worked for common people as much as I can. I want to work for more people by joining the party
Pia Sengupta, wife of director Anup Sengupta and daughter of late actor Sukhen Das, took the Trinamool flag in her hand and said, "I joined Trinamool today after seeing Mamata Banerjee's development and standing by her side." I will work shoulder to shoulder with all staff. I am committed to seeing Mamata Banerjee as Chief Minister for the third time. And for that I will fight with my last drop of blood.
