‘Myself Allen Swapan’ breaks another record
'Myself Allen Swapan', which is a spin-off to Shihab Shaheen's 'Syndicate', is turning out to be one of Chorki's most successful ventures. It has been streamed for over 200 crore minutes in 8 days, which is the highest on this streaming platform, in this time-frame.
The series, which was released on the day before Eid, features Nasir Uddin Khan, Rafiath Rashid Mithila, Abdullah Al Sentu, Arnab Tripura and Mishkat Mahmud, among others.
The news was confirmed by Chorki's representatives.
"I really love this character, but I had no idea that people would grow to love it so much", said Nasir Uddin Khan. "I am getting calls, text messages and tags – I can't reply to them all, but I am very grateful."
Shihab Shaheen had no idea that the character of Allen Swapan would take off to this level. "The thanks goes to the team, and Chorki. It is Nasir's credit that he gave this character life."
Rafiath Rashid Mithila delivered one of her most memorable performances in the series. "This is all teamwork. Without a great team, this would not have been as successful," she said.
