Income of `The Kerala Story` in 8 days!
'The Kerala Story' became a hit at the box office in one week. According to the box office report, 'The Kerala Story' will cross the 100 crore mark on Saturday itself.
Industry tracker Sacknilk reports that The Kerala Story earned Rs 12.50 crore on its eighth day (preliminary estimate), which is the same as its seventh day (12.50 crore). As a result, the total collection of the film stood at 94 crores.
It started its run in theaters last May 5 with 8.03 crores. Then the revenue on Saturday was 11.22 crores and on Sunday 16.40 crores. Then on the first Monday it earned 10.7 crores, on Tuesday it was 11.14 crores, on Wednesday 12 crores and on Thursday 12.50 crores.
Meanwhile, at the rate Kerala Story is doing at the box office, it will soon overtake Salman Khan's Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Which earned only 107.71 crores in theatres.
The film's trailer claimed that 32,000 women had disappeared from Kerala. They have been tricked into converting to Islam and those women are victims of the terrorist organization IS. There was no less controversy about that. Later trailer was given from 32 thousand to three women.
