Pori Moni wants to watch `Maa` premiere with Rajya
Actress Pori Moni has expressed her heartfelt desire to watch the premiere of her upcoming film, "Maa", with her own son Rajya and the baby who played her on-screen child in the film.
Reflecting on her experience, Pori Moni shared that this little baby had a profound impact on her, even before she became a mother herself. The Dhallywood actress reminisced about the emotional connection she felt with the seven-month-old baby during the shooting of the film, "Maa".
Pori Moni took to Facebook and posted a video that captured a touching moment, showing the child in Pori Moni's arms, gazing at her lovingly. In the caption, the actress introduced the child, mentioning his significant role as the lead and youngest artiste in the film, "Maa".
"I was pregnant with Rajya at that time. When I was shooting with this boy, I felt like I would have a son too! I really want to see how big the baby has become," she wrote. Pori Moni then earnestly requested the film's director, Aranyo Anawer, to arrange a special screening of "Maa" for her, Rajya with her on-screen baby.
Aranyo Anawer's directorial film, "Maa", had its world premiere at the 76th Cannes Film Festival on Saturday. Previously, "Maa" was scheduled for a domestic release on May 19. However, as per the rules, a film cannot be released in theatres before its screening at a festival. Thus, the release of "Maa" in local theatres was postponed to May 26.
