Mahfuz, Bubly chat about ‘Prohelika’ on a sunny afternoon

Mahfuz Ahmed and Shobnom Bubly starrer "Prohelika" will be released this Eid. Before the film's release, they have been participating in various promotion campaigns. On Friday, the team of "Prohelika" met at a restaurant for a similar reason.

Speaking about the film, director Chayanika Chowdhury said, "The film's story is the superstar. I work for the audience. Many good films like 'Priyotoma' and 'Antarjal' are also coming this Eid. We'll watch all the movies. I will also watch 'Prohelika' along with these other films."

Mahfuz Ahmed added, "Today I have just come to listen. You talk about us and we'll listen. Me (Mana) and Shobnom Bubly (Arpa) have come to hear you talk about both the good and the bad sides. After 4-long-years, I have come with a new film through 'Prohelika'. This is a story of finding like-minded people. I have Bubly, who is a very time-conscious artiste, by my side. I hope the audience enjoys our film."

Shobnom Bubly also chimed in, saying, "Today, we have come for a different type of chat. I have come here to chat with all of you. We will just chat about 'Prohelika'. We have a good film here. I won't say that we have something huge and ground breaking, but it is a good movie. The media, who are the friends of the public, are our greatest strength. I hope we will have you by our side."

The first song from the film "Megher Nouka" has already been widely discussed since its release. The song has been sung by Imran and Konal. Asif Iqbal has written the lyrics of the song.

Produced by Jamal Hossain, the story, dialogue and screenplay of the film have been written by Pantha Shahriar. The film also stars Nasir Uddin Khan, Rashed Mamun Apu, A K Azad Shetu, Rahmat Ali and Sabiha Zaman, amongst others.
