Anupam Roy concert in Dhaka todays!

Kolkata musician Anupam Roy will sing at a concert titled 'Magical Night' in Dhaka tonight. Triple Time Communications is organizing the concert at Dhaka's International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB).

Anupam Roy came to Dhaka yesterday Wednesday afternoon, Anupam took part in a press conference organized at a hotel in Dhaka at night. He told reporters that it is always a pleasure for him to sing in front of the Bangladeshi audience. Today he plans to sing the Bengali songs discussed in front of the audience.

Triple Time Communications said, Hathirpool Sessions will take the stage today at around 5 pm, followed by Meghdal, Talpatar Sepai and Anupam Roy.

Apart from Anupam, members of Calcutta's Talpatar Sepai Band were also present at the press conference. Earlier, Anupam had performed at Narayanganj Club on March 10, this is his second concert in Bangladesh this year.

In 2010, Anupam responded by singing 'Let me be like you' and 'Song of survival' in Srijit Mukherjee's 'Autograph'. After that one after another his songs were appreciated.

The singer won India's 64th National Film Award in 2016 for Best Lyricist for the song 'Tumi Ja Ke Abayabo'. In 2015, he made his debut in Bollywood by directing the music of the movie 'Piku'.
