Rani in irony with weight for the film
Actress Rani Mukhopadhyay played the role of a mother of two children in the film 'Mrs Chatterjee vs. Norway'. Children separated from their mothers for the Norwegian Child Welfare Service. Rani's performance in the title role of this film based on a true story has already caught the eye. She had to face the challenge of keeping her weight under control in the film.
In a recent interview given to a Mumbai news agency, Rani said, "A mother has her own beauty." That's what I wanted to show in the needs of the character. I played the role of a mother who gave birth five months ago. It is not difficult for mothers of this generation to shed excess body fat and become like before. They have diet, gym, everything. But for a mother who lives abroad, works, brings up a child alone, it is quite challenging to keep the body tight like in youth.
The real Mrs. Chatterjee's life struggles are many. During his long struggle, he sometimes gained weight and sometimes lost a lot. Actress Rani also had to go through the same path to portray the character. Had to gain less weight in a short period of time. Rani happily accepted this challenge for a good film.
