Directors Guild suspends Chamak for 3 months
The Directors Guild suspended actress Rukaiya Jahan Chamak for three months on Monday (August 21) after the charge against her was proven.
The announcement came this afternoon through a press conference.
According to the announcement, the Directors Guild has ordered the actress not to work for three months starting September 1.
The actress has been ordered to pay compensation for the loss of drama by August 30. The general diary she filed at the police station should be withdrawn soon. If this instruction is not followed, the organization would take stern measures, according to the announcement.
On August 4, an argument took place on the set of the drama 'Shashurbarir Prathom Din' directed by Adif Hasan.
After that, an allegation was brought that Chamak misbehaved with the producers and co-stars after being excited at the shooting set. Later, Chamak called the police for her safety and then the shooting was stopped.
