Mithila starring in detective movie
Two Bangla’s renowned actress Rafiath Rashid Mithila has always been successful in the showbiz world. This actress has been seen in a main role in various dramas, web series, and even in Kolkata cinema. Recently, Mithila has come into the discussion with her skillful performance in ‘Myself Allen Swapan’, the sequel of the popular web series ‘Syndicate’ directed by Shihab Shaheen. After that, she was seen in a Kolkata movie ‘Maya’. This actress has joined another movie in Kolkata.
A Kolkata media reported that Mithila, Jeetu Kamal, and Silajit Majumder will be seen in important roles in Dulal Deyo’s ‘Aranyer Prachin Probad’ cinema. Shilajit will play the role of Jeetu’s brother-in-law.
The director says that he is thinking of making a “franchise” of the detective movie. The story of the movie revolves around the activities of detective Aranya Chatterjee. Jeetu Kamal will be seen in this detective role. His brother-in-law Sudarshan Halder wrote down the various expeditions of Detective Aranya. The chemistry of brothers-in-law will be seen in the movie.
Mithila will be seen in the role of a nurse in this movie. Explaining the reason for casting Mithila in the movie, the director said that “he could not find this role in anyone else except Mithila”. So he did not offer anyone else the role. He spoke to the actress about the character a year and a half ago.
A succession of detective films have been produced in Kolkata over the years. Many of these have been successful. And the director is very optimistic about this new movie.
