Afsana Mimi, Afzal Hossain to reunite on-screen after 22 years

Celebrated actors Afzal Hossain and Afsana Mimi will be pairing up again after over 22 years, for a new Eid special tele-fiction titled, "Mohakaler Thik Majkahne" directed by Arif Khan.

The two celebrities were last seen together in Mostofa Sarwar Farooki's "Vocatta", which was released back in 1999.

Speaking about the tele-fiction, Arif Khan shared, "Both of these actors are my favourites, not only as artistes, but also as human beings. Now that the two are working together, after such a long time, I hope the audience also appreciates their performance on the screen. I have very high expectations for this project."

Afsana Mimi and Afzal Hossain will be seen playing the role of husband and wife in the new Eid production.

Talking about the project, Afzal Hossain said, "The narrative of 'Mohakaler Thik Majkahne' is a bit unique, which is why I am having quite a bit of fun portraying my role. Moreover, acting with Mimi after such a long time is also a delight for me."

Similarly, Afsana Mimi mentioned, "It has been a really long time since I have shared the screen with him (Afzal Hossain). After such a big gap, we will be pairing up this time for an amazing story."

The Eid special project also features Rakib Hasan Bappy, Nabila Islam, and Golam Kibria Tanvir, amongst others. The tele-fiction will greet the audience this coming Eid on Channel i.
