National award stolen from singer Nancy`s house
The National Film Award was stolen from popular musician Nazmun Munira Nancy's house. In this regard, he made a written complaint to the police station on Wednesday (April 26) informing the domestic worker of his suspicions.
About the theft, Nancy said, 'Tahmina came to work at my house for a few days. I told him to work until Eid. On April 5, Tahmina suddenly said that she will not work anymore, her health is bad. Later, when I asked him to get treatment, he said that he was possessed by a ghost. Won't work for this anymore. Still did not understand the theft. Later put her younger sister for work.
After Tahmina left, Nancy came to know about the theft while cleaning the house on April 17. In his words, 'Look, there is no national film gold medal, gold chain and earrings. Later report to the police station. When an SI came and interrogated Tahmina's younger sister, she said that her sister had taken it. However, when Tahmina and her husband were called by the police and questioned, she denied.
In this regard, Gulshan Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) BM Farman Ali said, 'Nancy's written complaint is being accepted as a statement. The housekeepers of his house are suspected for this theft.
Incidentally, Nancy started her music career in 2006 by singing in the movie 'Hridayer Katha'. In 2009, his first album 'Valobasa Adhra' was released. In 2011, Muhammad Mustafa won the National Film Award for the first time by singing the song of the movie 'Prajapati' directed by Kamal Raj.
