3 Bangladeshis Participation China in My Eyes-Zhejiang trip
A five-day long 'China in My Eyes-Zhejiang Trip' was successfully held to understand China objectively as well as experience modern China.
The event was held in China's Zhejiang Province from April 24 to April 28.
It is organized by The Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries for foreign students to gain practical experience. Bangladeshi students also participated in it.
Participants in the event visited Hangzhou, Chiashing and Huzhou cities in Zhejiang Province, among other places. The event was overall supervised by Zhu Tan, Director of the Cultural Exchange Department of The Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. Winners of the 'China in My Eyes' short video competition will have the opportunity to participate in the event. Three Bangladeshi students studying in China participated in the video competition and won the prize. They are Mainul Islam Apon, Mehdi Hasan Sunny and Md. Sohag Hossain.
Mainul Islam Apon, a Bangladeshi student participating in the event, said, "I had a very good experience in this wonderful trip." Visited various places in Zhejiang province. I have learned about Chinese culture, history, poverty alleviation, rural development and technological innovation, and how the Chinese Communist Party is working for the welfare of the people.
Another student Mehdi Hasan Sani said, I have learned a lot about Chinese culture and traditions as well as rural development in China. There I saw how the environment of the village has been brought back to its proper form from the polluted condition, how the economic development of the village people has been achieved. We have a lot to learn from the issue of economic development including poverty alleviation of about one and a half billion people in this country.
25 delegates from 19 countries and regions including Bangladesh, Nepal, USA, UK, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Laos, Thailand, Nigeria and Kenya participated in this event.
