Eid Reunion in Geneva by Bangladesh permanent mission
Ambassador of Bangladesh Permanent Mission Switzerland and permanent representative to the United Nations. Eid-ul-Fitr-2023 reunion was celebrated at Sufiur Rahman's official residence, Bangladesh House.
On the invitation of Ambassador Sufiur Rahman and his wife Mrs. Shamsia Begum, present and former officers/employees working in the mission, Bangladeshis working and retired in UN and international organizations, expatriates of various classes and professions living in Geneva participated in the ceremony which started on Saturday afternoon.
Looking at the local colorful Eid clothes and food collection, it seemed like a small piece of Bangladesh in the heart of a foreign country.
United Nations Representative Sanchita Haque, Switzerland Awami League President Jamadar Nazrul Islam, General Secretary Shyamal Khan, Bangladesh Club's former founder General Secretary Sadat Hossain, Ayan Junaid, Mohammad Tarek and others were present at the event.
The Ambassador exchanged Eid greetings with all present and expressed gratitude and thanks for their kind presence.
